The Interview

  • Be able to articulate why you are interested in the position.
  • Research the PI's area of study and previous trials in advance.
  • Understand the purpose and significance of clinical research.
  • Convey enthusiasm about the position you are applying for.
  • Demonstrate interest in medicine and research.
  • Discuss past research experiences.

Tips for New Coordinators

  • Although serving as a coordinator is rewarding, it can be challenging at times. Remember that there is a learning curve!
  • Always be willing to adapt and learn. Coordinators that are flexible and take correction with kindness are the most successful!
  • Stay organized! Keep all required and completed study documents in one place.
  • Maintain open communication with members of the research team and study participants.
